What to Expect
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be confusing or intimidating.
Here are some things to help you feel informed and comfortable before you visit.
We are a community of believers who exist to glorify God,
to transform people into followers of Christ,
and to live Spirit-filled lives.
We’d love to have you join us on Sunday at 10:30 AM.
Join us for an uplifting service filled with heartfelt worship, Christ-centered preaching, and an engaging kids’ ministry. Whether you’re a lifelong churchgoer or visiting a church for the first time, we’re committed to creating a warm and inviting experience for you and your family.
PASSIONATE WORSHIP
At Garner Church, every gathering features music rooted in Scripture and centered on God’s glory. Our heartfelt desire is that everyone who joins us leaves with a renewed sense of awe and gratitude for the transformative work of Jesus Christ. We joyfully sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, inviting all to worship in spirit and truth.
GOSPEL-CENTERED PREACHING
At Garner Church, our preaching is expository and gospel-centered, faithfully unpacking the truth of each Bible passage while connecting it to the grand narrative of Scripture. Every sermon points to the heart of the gospel: God’s immense love for us, revealed most powerfully through Jesus’ sacrificial death. Our aim is to proclaim Christ as the hero of every message, inspiring all to love God deeply in response to His grace.
VIBRANT KIDS MINISTRY
At Garner Church, we have a heart for children! Every Sunday and Wednesday, your kids will explore the love of Jesus and the Gospel through dynamic Bible studies that highlight God’s amazing grace. They’ll have a blast with joyful singing, interactive games, and creative crafts that make learning about faith fun and memorable. Your child’s safety is our priority, ensured by our secure environment and dedicated, screened volunteers. Parents can worship with confidence, knowing we provide vibrant kids’ programs for children in 3rd grade and younger at every service.
Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be confusing or intimidating.
Here are some things to help you feel informed and comfortable before you visit:
What should I wear?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Worship Gatherings. Garner Church is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you.
Where should I park?
There are several reserved guest parking spaces in our main parking lot that you are welcome to use. These spaces are near the front entrances. Look for the “Visitor Parking” signs.
Should I bring a Bible?
If you own a Bible, we’d love for you to bring it because we do read scripture in the service. If you don’t have one, no problem! We will have scripture shown on our screens. We also have copies of the Bible available for use during services.
Is childcare available?
We encourage and welcome parents to bring their children into the worship service. At this time, we have a nursery for newborns to 2 and Childrens Church for kids ages 3-8.
