Our Mission to Cuba
Our mission trip to Cuba is dedicated to sharing the gospel and supporting local communities in Havana and Jibacoa. We aim to strengthen the spiritual and material resources of four churches by conducting Vacation Bible Schools and providing essential supplies to pastors and their families. This initiative is a heartfelt effort to empower the Cuban church community and foster enduring relationships.
Mission Objective:
1. Take a mission team of the Garner Church to Cuba to conduct 1-Day VBS services in four different small, impoverished towns who cannot provide their own type of VBS. We would bring crafts, candies, object lessons that reinforce the message of Jesus.
2. We will also provide practical and useful gifts and supplies for the missionary pastors at each location.
3. For the Sunday services we will attend Jibicoa Free Will Baptist Church.
4. Each person will travel with two suitcases. One suitcase will be for all personal belongings needed during the week. The second suitcase will be to transport donations and leave medicines, food, water purifiers, tools, etc.
5. Missionaries are encouraged to travel with a plan to leave as many personal belongings there on the island as possible.
6. One day work project on a church property needing work.
7. Bring tools as donations and organize several tools bags to spread out at
churches.
8. Collect used baseball gloves and supplies to donate.
9. Collect used eye glasses to take and leave to be distributed. Also, +50 – +300 reading glasses.
10. Rechargeable fans for elderly or babies.
11. Anything that uses solar to charge it is useful there.
12. Tour Old Havana, the Old Fort, and go souvenier shopping.
Cuba Mission Trip 2026
January 23 – January 30, 2026
Join us for a week of impactful service and fellowship. Our itinerary includes conducting Vacation Bible Schools in Havana and Jibacoa, providing tools and supplies to local churches, and engaging with the community to spread the message of hope. This trip is an opportunity to serve and grow in faith alongside fellow Garner Church members.

Comprehensive Package
Our all-inclusive package ensures a seamless experience for every participant.
$1,900
The $1,900 fee covers round-trip airfare, cuban visa, accommodations, meals, and all necessary supplies for our mission activities. Additionally, it includes transportation within Cuba and travel insurance for peace of mind. Note: Each traveler is asked to travel pack in one suitcase and bring an additional suitcase to pack with donations that will be left for the ministry in Cuba. The weight of your first and second suitcase is included in your Comprehensive Package.
Travel Itinerary
Our journey begins at Raleigh Durham Airport, where we will board a Delta Airlines flight to Miami. After a brief layover, we will continue our journey to Havana, Cuba. The flight schedule is designed to ensure a comfortable travel experience, with convenient departure and arrival times. Upon arrival in Havana, transportation will be provided to our accommodations, setting the stage for an impactful mission trip.
Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Cuba, while contributing to meaningful projects in local communities. This trip promises to be a transformative experience, both spiritually and culturally.
